So, you want to know where I’m coming from…
My name is Rachel Rasmussen (though I have a wide variety of nicknames as well) and I am currently pursuing both a high school and associates degree. I have yet to decide what career I will pursue but for a long time I have leaned toward creative writing. I love to read, enjoy writing, and I am passionate about animal rescue. I like warm hoodies, snugly pets, mugs of tea, old TV shows and a wide variety of literature.
My blog has no determined destination, I merely write what strikes me at the time. In general this includes my own thoughts, reviews (especially on literature), and my own bumbling adventures in life. If my blog helps me to work out my muddled thoughts and write more, then I consider it a success. If it also helps to entertain people and encourages them to think as well, then I count it even more so.
If asked what I find important in life I would say God, family, and selfless love. This doesn’t mean I always, or even often, put these things first, but it does reflect some of my viewpoints.
I can’t sum up my whole life or characteristics in one page but I hope this allows the reader to understand a little about who I am.
