Furry Friends Rescue

Furry friends is the animal rescue where I volunteer.  Instead of writing my own information I am just posting their info from pet finder, I thought it would be more accurate and include all  of the details.

Who We Are

We are a group of volunteers in the northwest Oakland and Livingston county area who are dedicated to making the lives of homeless animals a bit better…one day at a time.

What We Do

Furry Friends rescues adoptable pets from local animal shelters and from private owners.

Once in fostercare all animals are spayed/neutered and any underlying health issues are addressed. They are then evaluated and made ready for adoption. Since our pets live in our homes with us we are able to help them find their perfect forever-home.

Furry Friends supports education and assistance in low-cost spay/neuter and promotes proper vet care including low cost vaccinations, heartworm and microchipping clinics.

We Need You!

We encourage you to volunteer in any capacity you are able. No special skills are needed other than a love of animals and a willing heart. Contact Pat at (248) 860-5688 to learn more.

Our Mission
The mission of Furry Friends Rescue is to promote the humane treatment of animals through education, referral, rescue and placement.
